The Client

Dick’s Sporting Goods is an official retailer of the National Basketball Association. They offer a wide variety of team specific gear and jerseys.

The Problem

March is a month made for college basketball. In the latter part of an interesting NCAA college basketball season, March Madness was knocking at the door. 64 teams compete in the tournament for a shot at the national title. The conversation around the tournament was going to be fast and DSG wanted to make sure its fans knew they were watching too.

The Solution

Our team saw this as an opportunity to think strategically and creatively to make sure DSG was in the conversation around the tournament. Leading up, our team created general and tailored snapchat filters for fans to use to use to support their team and custom animations to show fans we were looking forward to the madness. We also created custom graphics around the latter part of the tournament that highlighted the matchups, possible scores, and the winners.
